Funeral Services

If you’ve ever been to a memorial service, you’ve undoubtedly ran across the ramblings of an officiant who neither knows the memorialized individual nor the pain and suffering that the family is struggling through.

Fr. Vazken ties life and death together to make the memorial service meaningful for the mourning family. In his initial consultation with the family, he helps write the biography and finds stories that bring meaning and color to the passed-on life. He celebrates the life within the tradition of Armodoxy, that is, the service is not a funeral, per se, rather an act of returning the soul to its origins. The service becomes a vehicle by which the family can move from fear and despair to greeting the new loss in a holistic manner.

Family members are encouraged to bring reflections and stories that will brighten the memory of the individual. Each service is unique and filled with stories of hope and love.

Here is an opportunity to heal by the only power that can heal, that is, through love. Young and old are filled with reflective energy as the service and words of comfort touch their heart.
