Armenia Fund Information - 2007

The 10th International Armenia Fund Telethon will broadcast on the air, on cable, on satellite and the Internet on November 22, Thanksgiving Day from Los Angeles. The program will begin at 8 am PST and conclude at 8pm PST (5 pm to 5 am in Europe; 8 pm to 8 am in Yerevan).

Broadcast live from KSCI TV 18 in Los Angeles (channels around the US listed below), the entire program will stream live all day on  the site of the West Cost affiliate of The Armenia Fund in the following address  http://www.armeniafund.org <http://www.armeniafund.org>   and the East Coast affiliate http://www.armeniafundusa.org <http://www.armeniafundusa.org> , as well as on Horizon TV http://www.horizonarmeniantv.com <http://www.horizonarmeniantv.com> .
 
The telethon will feature as special guests the newly-elected President of Karabakh, Mr. Bako Sahagian, and Armenia's Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian, special guests and more than 40 musical acts.

The 12-hour fundraiser will highlight the Armenia Fund's major programs and invite tax-deductible donations towards the Fund's ambitious Rural Development Program being carried out in Armenia and Karabakh.

Films especially prepared for the telethon will be shown in Armenian and English. Throughout the day, there will be live musical entertainment, featuring some of the top names in Armenian music, as well as special guests.

Major Armenian-American communities in the US will be able to view the telethon on local television stations.
